AIPE Newsletter Issue 25 Released: IBC@10 – Redefining India’s Restructuring Ecosystem

The Association of Insolvency Professional Entities (AIPE) is pleased to announce the release of AIPE Newsletter – Issue 25 (1st–15th June 2026), featuring a special edition dedicated to the landmark national conference “IBC@10 – Redefining India’s Restructuring Ecosystem.”

Organized in collaboration with IICA and IIIPI, the conference brought together leading policymakers, regulators, insolvency professionals, legal experts, bankers, investors, and restructuring specialists to reflect upon ten years of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and deliberate on the future direction of India’s insolvency ecosystem.

Key Themes Covered

  • Cross-border insolvency and India’s adoption of global best practices.
  • The growing role of pre-packs, hybrid resolution models, and ADR mechanisms.
  • Development of a mature distressed asset ecosystem through ARCs, AIFs, and institutional capital.
  • Early warning systems, information utilities, technology, AI, and institutional preparedness.

The discussions highlighted the need for stronger institutional capacity, enhanced investor confidence, efficient resolution mechanisms, and greater integration with international restructuring standards. The convention underscored that the future of insolvency lies in prevention, preparedness, innovation, and collaboration.

AIPE remains committed to fostering thought leadership, professional development, and policy dialogue to strengthen India’s insolvency and restructuring ecosystem.
