Mr. Sanjeev Pandey brings over three decades of outstanding experience in the banking and financial services sector, with a specialization in insolvency, restructuring, and stressed asset resolution.  As the CEO and General Secretary (Honorary) of the Association of Insolvency Professional Entities (AIPE), he assumes a pivotal role in furthering the stated vision and mission of AIPE.  

Prior to joining AIPE, Mr. Pandey served as the Deputy General Manager and Head of the NCLT Division at the State Bank of India (SBI).  Under his leadership, SBI managed over 1,000 Corporate Insolvency Resolution Processes, involving aggregate debts exceeding ₹75,000 crores.  His deep understanding of both legal and financial dimensions of insolvency helped in shaping institutional frameworks and effective insolvency resolutions.

Mr. Pandey was also deputed to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), where he was instrumental in drafting of key regulations governing corporate insolvency, liquidation, fast-track resolution, and voluntary liquidation.   

He has also served as Visiting Faculty at IIM -Jammu and continues to actively contribute as a subject matter expert. 

Internationally, Mr. Pandey served as Executive Vice President at SBI Singapore, where he managed an $800 million investment portfolio and spearheaded innovations in treasury and investment operations.

An alumnus of Delhi University, Mr. Pandey holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Mewar University.
